LONDON, April 26. Commissioner Catherine Booth, eldest daughter of General Booth, who is responsible for the Salvation Army women’s social work, had an interview with Viscount Rothermerc this week, and received from him a cheque for the first £SOOO toward a new Salvation Army Shelter for Women in London. 'l'llis now enterprise will cost £25,000, and it is hoped the premises will be in use before next winter.
