Cloudy and Unsettled An intense cyclone is now centred in the south Tasman Sea; the anti-cyclone is located between New Zealand and the Chatham Islands and is also intense. Forecast, Strong east to north winds reaching gale force in places in and south of Cook Straits; rough to heavy seas south of Capo Egmont and Castlepoint; elsewhere moderate but increasing strong northerly winds to gales and rough seas in the eastern Tasman Sea. Weather cloudy and unsettled generally with much mist; general rain probable with some heavy falls. (Sun To-day) Rises, 7.28 a.m.; sets, 4.29 p.m. (To-morrow) Rises 7.29 a.m.; sets, 4.29 p.m. (Moon To-day) Rises, 9.37 p.m,; sets, 11.48 a.m. (To-morrow) Rises, 10.47 p.m.; sets, 0.18 p.m.
