Danish, I70s; choicest salted and unsalted New Zealand, I6Bs to 1725; Australian, 158 s to 160 s; exceptionally good, 102 s. Cheese is firm. New Zealand, 98s to 995; Australian, 94S to 965. MOKE BUTTER, LESS CHEESE GRADED DURING SEASON. s WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Dairy Division's grading figures for ten months ending May show an increase for butter of 3.8 per cent. ,at--72,419 tons and for cheese a decrease of 1.4 per cent, at 73,485 tons as compared with the corresponding period of the preceding season. Reduced to terms of butter-fat equivalent, the gradings of dairy produce for ten months show an increase of 2.12 per cent, over the gradings of the corresponding period of the preceding season.

MARKET AT PAYABLE LEVEL.

AUCKLAND, June 7,

An increase of approximately 2s per cwt. in the London value of- butter was noticed in cablegrams received bj Auckland exporting circles to-day. The market has for some considerable time past remained at a payable level ( roughly 168 s to 170 s although no grcart volume of business has been passing.

A local company has received the following cablegram from its Londor office: “Butter, choicest salted 170 s to 1725; cheese, 98s to 90s; market steady.” Another company has received the following cablegram from its London house: “The butter market is firm'; quotations 168 s to 1725.”
