A man walked into Jenness and Partridge’s, jewellers, in Manners Street to-day representing himself to be a racehorse owner and asked to seo a diamond ring valued at £750. He took it to the door as though to sea it in a beter light and bolted. He was later found in a hotel bar displaying tho ring and was arrested.
