A petition in bankruptcy has been filed with the D.0.A., Mr C. B. Hempay, by Albert Edward Boyd, labourer, of Feildlng. Six Chinese who had overstayed their permits to reside in New Zealand were fined sums ranging from £SO to £lO at the Auckland Police Court.
