f * , MAINTENANCE CASES. (BEFORE HR J. L. STOUT S.M.) H. W. Robinson (Shannon) was ordered to pay arrears of maintenance amounting to £6 15s at the rate of 10s. per month. Wm. Henry Callaghan (Wellington) was sentenced to one month’s gaol with hard labour, to be released on payment of £23, arrears of maintenance for wife and children. Edward Leonard Timms (Palmerston North) was ordered, to pay 10s per week for the maintenance of his child. Ernest Bacon, (Shannon) was sentenced to 14 days’ gaol with hard labour but will bo released so long as he complies with an order of 15s per week off arrears of maintenance due (£l6 10s.).
