Sarwafc Pasha, the Premier, has resiged ostensibly for health reasons. ■ The newspaper “A 1 Ahram ” says that the Government not only rejected the British Treaty proposals, but also Sarwat’s project for agreeing to the British Amy’s, occupation for a further ten years, after which, failing an agreement, the matter would be referable to the League. The Wafd asserts that the Egyptions do not recognise tho British righ of occupation in Egypt. NATIONALIST LEADER MAY PORM MINISTRY LONDON, March 4. The Post’s” Cairo correspondent says that King Fuad is expected to invite Nahas, leader of the Wafd Party, which command a majority in Parliament, to form a Ministry. A gratifying feature is the quiet orderliness of the city. Formerly AngloEgyptian crises were accompanied bj disorders and occasional acts of via lence.
