RIVER GUARDIANS

EUAHINE CLUB ACTIVE. Tho newly-formed Euahinc Life Saving Club continued its good work of fostering tho art of swimming, patrolling tho river, and acquiring proficiency at life-saving drill during the past week-end. Lane’s pool continues to attract many enthusiasts there being easily two hundred bathers at the pool on Sunday afternoon. Mr, S. Wilson, who has lately completed his Award of Merit, has consented to act as honorary instructor and had a large class of boys undergoing instruction in life-saving drill, besides which ho gave a good exhibition of life-saving and the Schafer method o' resuscitation. Several races for tho boys were staged and a boys’ diving competition created great- interest. Over twenty-five now members were enrolled, the total now approaching 150.
