Evans won the first , prizes, while Miss Strawbridge took the ladies’ consolation prize and Mr Stubbings the nien’si From a long spell of warm rainless weather Feilding yesterday experienced 'a touch of wintry conditions—a - cold southerly with rain prevailing throughout the day.
