The final carnival of the Feilding Amateur Swimming Club will be held on Tuesday evening when several well known swimmers, including Dowsett, L. Smith and Miss N. Stratton (Wanganui), Harrison and M'Kenzio (Palmerston North) will take part, Mr. J. S. Daniell, schoolmaster of Cunningham’s, has been transferred, to Parewanui to take charge of the school there. He assumes his new charge on Thursday next. Mr Daniell has been six years at .Cunningham’s and was a popular member of the country cricket eleven.
