STAR WARDEN, 7.12 .. 1 ST. ALDEN, 9.2 .. .. .. 3 MAST.LMAH, 8.11 .... 3 Twenty-two started. A fine finish, necks separating the placed horses. Time, 1.142. FUTURITY STAKES, seven furlongs. GOTHIC, 10.0 1 SANS CULOTTE, 8.12 .. 2 -WANT COURIER, 9.1 ~ 3 Nine started, including Amounis. Sans Culotto made the early running and led into the straight slightly ahead of Gothic, Mettellus and Avant Courier. But Gothic finishing with grcajjj dash won by a length. Time, 1.26, a’ course record. Amounis was unlucky rounding the home turn where he was squeezed on the rails and almost came down. By tho time he recovered he had lost whatever chance he had of winning. STANLEY PLATE, ono mile. CHARLOT 8.2 1 BLACK DUCHESS, 9.5 .. 2 NEREUS, 7.5 3 Ten started. Another great finish. Won by a head. Time, 1.402. HAWKESBURN HANDICAP, six furlongs, CHRYSTAL, 8.3 ...... 1 LADY THRACIAN BELLE, ... 3 Eighteen started. A close finish, a head and a ncek separating second and third. Time, 1.12 J.
