THE LYCEUM

DOUBLE STAR PROGRAMME. “The Last Outlaw,” Gary Cooper’s second Paramount Western is coming to the Lyceum to-day to provide patrons with new thrills and throbs. It is a tale of rustlers and honest men. It tells of a crooked sheriff who thieved on those he was supposed to protect, and a young chap who took justice into his own hands. It relates how Buddy Halo rodo into town and became the new sheriff. It discloses how Buddy made Janet Lane’s acquaintance when rescuing her from a runaway horse and how ho lost it when he was told to arrest her brother for murdering a thief. It shows the methods which the ranchers were forced to use in protecting their property and—that only starts describing what’ll bo seen when “The Last Outlaw” comes to town! Jack Ludcn, former Paramount junior star, and Betty Jewel are featured in Cooper’s support. Also showing to-night “The Exquisite Sinner.”
