AVALON WINS THIRD SANDERS’ CUP RACE
(Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Last Night. The third completed race for the Sanders Cup this afternoon resulted in Avalon (Auckland) beating Betty (Canterbury) by 48 seconds. The position of the others was as fol lows: Eileen (Otago), Murihiku (Southland), Wellesley (Wellington).
