MERINGUE BASKETS
A USEFUL STAND-BY. kleringuc Baskets can be kept for, any length of time in an air tight tin, and can be filled as required. Whisk thc whites of. four eggs fill they form a stiff dry froth; add Mb. of castor sugar, and stir lightly together. Put, the mixture into a forcing bag with, a plain pipe, .at the end and pass through, in the shape of small baskets, on to a slightly greased baking tin. Dust thickly with icing sugar and set in a very cool oven for 2t hours to get quite crisp and dry. Slip a knife undo- each and set. in-a cool place until perfectly cold: thCn store. ,
