Sheldon Clark, a Chicago sportsman, and an official in one of Sinclair’s oil companies, was formally charged with conspiring to tamper with the old trial juryThe Government attorney, laid the charges after Clark had refused to testify before the Grand Jury which is investigating the alleged jury tampering complaint. It is alleged that Clark conspired with Sinclair and Mason Day, the latter another of Sinclair’s officials. Clark appeared Voluntarily and demanded a hearing, which was set for' later in the month. •• In the meantime he has been released on a 10,000-dollar bond.
