ENGLISH ENGINEERS NOT SATISFIED
WANT BIGGER WAGE INCREASE THAN OFFERED. [By Electric Cable-Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Gable Association.] LONDON. Juno 14. After an all-day conference, 40 Trade Unions, associated in the engineering industry, decided to take a ballot of members as to whether an increase of two shilling's a week; which the employers offer, be accepted. The Trade Union leaders say that they are far from satisfied with the offer, but the masters state that tho industry cannot bear a bigger burden.
