MATCH AT DUNEDIN JUNE 25. (Pei Press Association). WELLINGTON, Last Night. , The sole selector (Mr. B. L. Salmon) to-day announced that he had selected the following players to represent Now Zealand in the first test match against the Canadians at Dunedin on Juno 25: Goal: M Dougall (Canterbury). Full-backs: Anderson (Otago), and McGirr (Wellington). Half-backs: Tinkler (Auckland), Stccrc (Buller), and Jones (Auckland, captain). Forwards: Spencer (Auckland), Newman (Buller), Spencer (Auckland), Hislop (Auckland), and Balk (Otago). Emergencies: Braithwaite (Otago) and M. Cormack, (Otago). Baxter (Auckland) was first selected as half-back, hut not being available Tinkler wa s selected in his place. The members of the team will assemble at Dunedin on the Tuesday before the match and special arrangements have been made for practice. Mr. H. J. Graves, treasurer of the New Zealand Football Association, will manage the New Zealand team.
