MANAWATU CROQUET AND TENNIS CLUB

AN ENJOYABLE AFTERNOON. Although the attendance was small owing to the inclemency of the weather, a very pleasant card afternoon was spent by the members of th e Manawatu Croquet and Tennis Club at the Club rooms on Wednesday. The Hostesses were Mesdames Robertson, Campbell, W. Simmons, and Mrs Corbridgc, and a very dainty afternoon tea was enjoyed by all. The prizes were won by Mrs. W. Simmons, First, Mrs. G. Flint being runner up. The club proposes holding Its next afternoon on July 13th.
