A combine from Foxton visited the Feildlng green on Wednesday afternoon and played a challenge match for the Dixon Cup and Tucker Badges. Feilding retained the trophies by 30 to 16. , I Terrace End has the next challenge in. ’
Three rinks from Bulls also visited the Feilding green on Wednesday afternoon and were defeated by the home team by 60 to 51. The following were the scores, Feilding fcfcing mentioned first:—
Ferguson, Robinson, Taylor, G. Bartholomew (s.) 22 v. 'F. Stevens, Mansell, Wilson, H. Stevens (s.), 18. Way, B. Gray, Wenham, Williamson (s.) 27 v. Schwab, Perrett, Alderwick, Ingram (s.), 15. Dewe, R. Burne, Dummer, Mills (s.) 20. v. Price, Holland, Walker, Farrer (s.), 18. Eight rinks from the Feilding Club will pay a return visit to the Oroua green to-morrow afternoon.
