FIRST FEILDING PROSECUTION. A SERIOUS OFFENCE. Tho firjit prosecution in Feilding for a breach of the regulations concerning the registration of radio listening-in sets was heard at the Magistrate’s' Court before Mr. J. L. Stout;, S.M., yesterday, when Donald Styles, a resident of Kimbolton, was charged with establishing a station capable of receiving wireless signals otherwise than in accordance with Government regulations. * Sergeant Cahill, who prosecuted on behalf of the Post and Te/legraph Department, said that the Department viewed the offence of failing to register wireless sets as most serious. Counsel for-defendant, Mr. J. Power entered a plea of guilty and pointed out that his client, who was employed by the Eiwitea County Council, was moving about from place to place and had intended to register the instrument and plant. A fine of £3 and costs £2 12s was imposed.
