FRENCH WINE YIELD
THIRTY PER CENT. DECLINE. (By Electric Cable—Copyright.] [Aust- and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Sunday, 7 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 24. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Paris correspondent says that official figures show that the yield of this year’s French vintage is considerably lower than last year. The total production of wine, excluding Alsace-Lorraine, is estimated at 40,564,100 hectolitres, compared with 62,411,680 in 1925.
