AXJCKLAIVD COMPETITIONS. The recent Auckland singing competitions were noticeable for a lot of zeal on the part of the entrants. One choir was instructed not to eat sweets just before their singing turn came. This order brought a query from a twelve-year-old lad. “Mayn't we have a Pulmona, before our Church sing we always do?” Pulmonas at chemists I'G and 2/G.
