GALA DAT AT FEILDING.
On Saturday afternoon a Gala Day was spent on the Feilding Bowlins green, when seven rinks from clubs in the Manawatu Centre visited Feikling, Following were the results of the games, Foilding Clubs’ rinks being mentioned first:— Way, Down, Moore, Quayle (s.) 23 v. Fcrgusson’s Terrace End rink, 15. Tjumsdcn, Mcllroy, Robortshaw, Herdman (s.) 17 v. Crump's Palmerston rink. 23. Wcnham, Bevett, Chapman. Mills (s.) 22 v. O’Shea’s Terrace End rink, 13, Gibson. Masters, P. Gray. Ross Cs.) 10 v. Pickering’s Palmerston rink, 23. Hockrn, Henson. Cook, Davidson (s.) 13 v. Palmer’s Norlhcrn rink. 25. Nielson, McElroy. .lones. Brewer I (s.) 20 v. E. Smith. Pearce, Gondbc■here. Mason (s.), Or on a, 23. Taylor, Burne,, Bummer, Wilkinson fs.l 24 v. Canon Petrie. Jarrctt, Spence, Shrimpton (s.). Oroua, 17. Messrs. O’Shea and Goodbohcrn returned thanks, and cheers wore given for the ladies providing a sumptuous afternoon tea.
