At the Black Rcichswchr trial, four accused ot the murder of Groschkc, including Schulz, were acquitted. Klapproth was sentenced to 15 years, Rafael to S, Glaser to 3 and Schiburr to 1 year and others to shorter terms. The verdict, especially the acquittal of Schulz, caused considerable surprise.’ FIENDISH CRUELTY ALLEGED. (Received Thursday, 9.15 p.m.) BERLIN, Nov. 3. At tho trial of Lieutenant Schulz, ho was alleged to have ordered the “execution” of Groschkc, a member ot the Black Army, suspected of being a Communist and intending to betray his colleagues in the interAllicd Commission, but he denied all knowledge. The evidence showed that Groschkc in a coll in a lonely' fortress, was flogged for eight days in succession, then dragged out half dead at midnight, and shot through tho head while being driven in a motor-car. The body was buried in a wood, and found by peasants. Sergeant-Major Klapproth was regarded as tho actual murderer, and the willing tool. ot Schulz. Others sentenced include the driver of the motor-car.
