“HIS MAJESTY. HUNKER BEAN.” Even without Matt -Moore to play the loading role “His Majesty, Bunker Bean,’’ Warner's picturisation ot Harry Leon Wilson's novel would still have been a good comedy because it, has one of the best screen stories or a decade. But with Matt Moore It is perfect. Never has the youngest of the Moore brothers appeared to such advantage as in the picture at The Lyceum to-night. Bunker Bean is a. timid clerk who. becomes convinced by two charlatans that he is the reincarnation of Napoleon and later the reincarnation of an Egyptian King. Once his conceit is awakened, there is nothing ho cannot do. no one he cannot conquer. Dorothy Devore, plays opposite -Mr. Moore as the wistful little bit of feminity who inspires him to courage, and success. She is more charming than over in the roie of a flapper who thinks she knows u .ill and does.
COMING TO-MORROW “WATCH VOIR Wil-'M.' “Watch Your Wife," coming to the Lyceum Theatre commencing to-mor-row in a striking comedy drama with a. universal appeal. It is a UniversalJewel, and co-stars Virginia A'alli and Pat O’Malley. Its leading characters are a husband and wile whose petty quarrels finally load them to the divorce court Prom a social service bureau the husband “rents” a wife, while his divorced wife becomes entangled with a fortune hunter. The production is filled with good comedy and may lavish settings.
