SLAUGHTERMEN’S DEMANDS
POSITION IN HAWKE’S BAY. [Per Press Association.] HASTINGS, Last Night. Important developments are likely to occur in connection with the freezing trouble within the next twenty-four hours. Representatives of the men who are prepared to resume work with the different freezing companies, called on the Mayor, Mr. Maddlsou, tins morning about certain important matters in connection with both meetings called by the Union's district secretary to decide regarding non-resumption of work by members of the Union.
