FIXING BUTTER PRICES

BOARD’S NEW POWCI. [By Electric Cable—Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Friday 9.30 p.m) LONDON, Oct. 28. Presa cablegrams state that the New Zealand Dairy Control Board is Inviting three English importers to assist in the fixation of prices for butter. The Australian Presa Association understands that opinion among the large majority of all sections of the Trade is strongly opposed to fixation, and if the Board adheres to its policy, traders will probably take other butters in preference to New Zealand.
