PAYOUTS IN TARANAKI
Twenty-two dairy factories in North Taranaki paid out this month an aggregate sum of £38,729 2s sd. The average pay-out per pound of butterfat has been Is 2d, but it is expected this will be reduced by twopence on the next occasion. An intimation that the pay-out for October will bo Is has been made by the Kahotu directors in accordance with the Control Board’s policy. Increased yield may, however, compensate to some extent and tiie next aggregate pay-out may be larger than the last.
