AERIAL INSPECTION OF RIVERS

FURTHER PLIGHTS TO-DAY. The members of the ManawatuOroua River Board .Commission, and Counsel, were engaged on Saturday in making an aerial survey and inspection vof the Manawatu and Oroua rivers. Further flights arc contemplated to-day, provided the weather is suitable. Capt. Buckley was in charge of the 'plane and it is interesting to note that he has been recently appointed to the Flying Corps in New Zealand on account of his ability as a flying man, and conspicuous war record. The inspection should be completed by to-morrow, but owing to other business intervening, the Commission will not hear further evidence until September 20.
