The size of the new fertiliser works under construction at Aramoho is the subject of comment by passengers on trains passing through, according, to a railway official. The works are a good advertisement for Wanganui, being an indication of the city’s industrial progress. With woollen mills, brick works, casein factory, and fertiliser works, Aramoho promises to become an industrial suburb. , Rumours of further new industries have been cir. ciliated, but tangible form has not yet been reached.
