UNUSUAL CHRISTCHURCH CASE. [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHRCH, Last Night. . In the Supreme Court this morning, Ernest Abraham Hall Archer, blacksmith, was charged that on March 12 he killed Jessie Wilson, thereby committing the crime of manslaughter. Ho pleaded not guilty. The Crown alleged that Archer attempted to procure abortion in somewhat unusual circumstances. Air had been introduced into her body and she had met death as a person who had died from drowning, not being able to breathe.
