INSPECTION BN COMMISSIONER.
LADY DALRYMPLE TO VISIT PALMERSTON NORTH.
“The visit of Lady Marjorie Dalrymple to Hamilton has been most interesting and of inestimable value to those connected with the Girl Guide movement. Lady Marjorie is most enthusiastic about the work, and has the power to instil her keenness into her listeners,” states the Waikato "Times." Lady Dalrymple is a prominent Commissioner of the Girl Guides movement and has been making an organisation tour throughout the Dominion. Palmerston North is to be visited this week. On Friday at 2.30 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Lady Dalrymple will address a public meeting, which will be presided over by the Mayor (Mr. F. J. Nathan). At five o’clock on the same after, noon, she will inspect the Ist Palmerston North company of Girl Guidos and at 7.30 p.m., a film relating to the work of Girl Guides will be shown at the Opera House by arrangement with Mr. H. E. Bennett ,in conjunction with his usual programme of pictures. Tickets for this function are being sold by the Guides and the bookings at the Opera House Indicate that the movement has a good deal o£ support. T i , The local officers attendant on Lanj Dalrymple to be Captain Vasey, of Dalrymple will be Captain Vasey, of (Foxton). During her stay in town Lady Dalrymple will be the guest of I Mrs. A. E. Russell, “Whararata,” Fitzherbert.
