Mr Cyril Day, who for the past eight years had. been auctioneer manager of the stock department ot Messrs Abraham and Williams' Levin branch, has been appointed manager of Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Coy’s, branch at Marton, and commences his new duties on Wednesday next.
Building permits for work estimated to cost £I4IS were issued by the Feilding Borough Council during April. Only one case of infectious disease was notified in the borough of Feeding during April. The Feilding Cricket Association is to hold its annual social gathering on Wednesday evening, when the trophies won during the season will bo presented. The attention of our readers is called to a public lecture to bo given in St. Paul’s hall, Feilding, on Thursday evening by Rev. Howard Elliott, Dominion secretary and lecturer for the Protestant Political Association.
