Messrs. Dalgety & Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a good entry of stock at their Hunterville sale on Tuesday, March 30, which sold as below:—
Quotations: —4 and 5-yr. breeding ewes, 14s, 15s 3d, 15s 6d, 18s 6d; poorer sorts, 7s; M.A. ewes, 14s; medium 2-th. wethers, 17s 6d; good fat and forward wethers, 24s sd; cull 2-th. ewes, 6s; good mixed sex lambs, 15s; small mixed sex lambs, Ss 8d; weaner dairy heifers, 12s; weaner bulls, 7s 6d; 2-yr. empty heifers, 31s 6d; 2-yr. dairy heifers, £3 17s; store cows, £2 Bs; bulls, to £3 10s.
