OVERBURDENED PRIVATE TRUSTEES Sentiment may cause a testator to place a heavy weight of anxiety on a friend by appointing him to be trustee of his estate. At the outset the trustee, lacking experience, may anticipate that the duties will not be burdensome, but' time perhaps proves that the task is not the easy one he expected it to be, with the result that the trustee gets an uneasy feeling that though he is making personal sacrifices in his endeavour to carry out the wishes of the testator circumstances preclude him from giving that efficient service which the estate demands. A trustee in this position is well advised to transfer his responsibility to the Public Trustee.
