The Royalist newspaper "Action Francalse,’’ announced the death ot the Duo d’Orieana under the huge headlines: "The King is dead, long live the King." It presumes that the Due de Guise, the Due d' Orleans' heir will claim the title to the French throne as Jean 111. If de Guise Is not interested himself in Royalist politics and If he accepts the pretenderflhip, ho will bo forced to leave France. Other newspapers draw attention to the fact that Due d’Orleans desired to be burled at Dreux. His parents, the Count and Countess de Paris, are burled in Surrey and did not desire to be interred in the Royal tombs at Dreux until 'the French Government gave permission to the "King ot France” to attend the funeral. Should the Government permit the Due do Guise to attend the Due d’Orleans’ burial, it is expected the bodies of the Count and Countess do Paris will be removed thither.
