Cable Association.] (Received Monday, 7.20 p.m.) ROME, March 28. “Fascist Italy is both loved and feared abroad, but I do not attach any importance to what foreigners think or write,’’ said Signor Mussolini, in addressing the troops. “It is natural that Plutocracy, liberalism, Free Masonry and Democracy should combine against Fascism, but these antagonistic forces must copy Fasicism, or die. Foreigners must end their gossipy Parliamcntism, which must bo given an executive of greater power to regulate labour and capital, as the Fascists have done.” BRACK SHIRTS’ WATCHWORD. WORTHY OP NAME OF EMPIRE. (Received Monday, 7.30 p.m.) ROME, March 29. All Italy celebrated the seventh anniversary of Fascism. Signor Mussolini sent a message to the people, recalling that after seven years the situation has cleared, and the opposition had been dispersed. Ho urged the “Black Shirts” to renew their endeavours for national consolidation, with their watchword as Discipline, continuing and unchanging. Signor Mussolini thereupon reviewed the Fascists from an aeroplane, and later addrtessed them, asking them not to forget the destiny of Italy was under their safeguard as a nation worthy of the name of Empire. From early morning, Fascists paraded the streets with ensigns and hands. All trains and public buildings were decorated and pictures of Mussolini were everywhere.
