GALA DAT AT LTXTOX STREET OX MARCH mil. Tlio Palmerston North Lawn Tennis Club intends holding' a mixed doubles open tournament at Linton street, on Rt. Patrick’s Day. Resides tennis there will be other diversions. Owing' to St. Patrick’s Day not being a public holiday, the probability is that the tourney will not start in the forenoon, but that point (together with other details) has yet io Vie settled. As the Palmerston North Club champion, E. D. Andrews leaves for Australia with the New Zealand (earn on the 10th, inst, no doubt the 200 odd members of the club, log-ether with many 'other admirers in kindred organisations, will roll-np tu force lu bid him au re voir.
