The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, lias received the following cablegram from its London house under date March sth: —New Zealand frozen meat: Lamb lOgd per lb (average); mutton (>3d per lb, wether and maiden ewe light; 5Sd per lb, wether and maiden ewe heavy; <1 ild per lb, ewe light; 4Jd per Jb, ewe heavy. Market slow. The N.Z. Fanners’ Co-operative Distributing Co.. Ltd., has received the following cable from its London office; “Butter market quiet, witti Denmark lower than N.Z. Weak owing no buyers. At to-day's prices N.Z. 168/- to 172/-, Australian 1(12/- to 1(14/, Argentine 14S/- to 15G/. Cheese slow, weak. New Zealand US/- to 100/-. Lambs mutton improvement lone continues; beef neglected."
