BUSINESS GIRLS’ LUNCH CLUB
NEW ORGANISATION IN P.N.
The latest addition to the several social organisations in- Palmerston North is the Business Girls’ Lunch Club, which is to be copducted on lines similar to the men’s Lunch Club. The idea has been (taken up enthusiastically and aa a result of two preliminary meetings thirty-four business girls have signified! their intention of joining up. The first luncheon will be held on Friday next at Oolllnsoh and Cunnlnghame’s rooms and it .ie proposed to hold others once a fortnight? when interesting addresses .and. other suitable entertainment will be provided. Mrs. M. H. Oram has been elected’ President, Mrs, Christian secretary, Miss McKinnon - treasurer, while the president .secretary;,: treasurer and Misses D. Holller and) I. Henry will form a committee to arrange 1 a suitable syllabus, j V
