In the House of Commons, Sir Samuel Hoare (Air Minister) announced (that four service airplanes would leave next week to traverse Cobham’s Cairo to Capetown route. Mr. Alan J. Cobham. the noted English airman, who left Stag Lano, Edgware, London, on Monday, November 16 in a De Haviland 50 aeroplane, arrived at Capetown on February 18. He completed a flight of 8020 miles.
