P.N. V. HAWKE’S BAY. The annual contest between the leadlrig lawn'tennis clubs of Manawatu and Hawke’s Bay will take place at Namier on Saturday. March 6. Tin Hawke’s Bay Club is very strong in lady players, but the Palmerstoniana are expected ,to .turn to good account the experience gained injthe closelycontested Wanganui games. The following will represent Palmerston North (B. D. Andrews not being available,, owing to his forthcoming trip to New South Wales with the New Zealand team): — < Men: J. T. McDonald, H. J. Thompson, F. A. MoLachlan, R. V. Hooper, S. G. Wyatt. Ladies: Mrs. F. B. Smijth, Misses D. Haggitt, M. Rickard, H. Litchfield, S. Watson. D. Wallace.
