FIVE STEAMERS ALREADY TIED UP

There have been further developments in the dispute between the owners of coastal vessels and the seamen. The owners paid off the crews of five steamers, which Will be tied up, pending settlement of tho dispute. One steamer, which arrived at a coastal port where the seamen refused to unload the cargo unless paid wharf labourers’ rates, has been recalled to Sydney, where it will be tied up.
