SCHOOL PICNIC AT ASHHUKST Pupils of the Foxton X>. H. S. with teachers, parents and friends, to the total number of over 600, Journeyed to Ashhurst, by special train yesterday for their annual outing. The teaching staff and school committee,, spared no efforts in securing the childrens, enjoyment, and all worked with a right good will. The weather was beautiful and the picnic was voted on© of the most successful yet held. Thanks are due to Mr. H. Hornblow station master, and the other railway officials for their' unremitting attention, and the assistance of the Rev. W. H. Walton, Messrs. F. Woods, E. C. Cowley. M. E. Porreau, Baillie. 8,, Murphy, F. Rimmer, R. B. Barron Rout was greatly appreciated. The morning was-devoted to sports, and the afternoon to organised games.
