She should reach Wellington about March 2nd., Cable news shas been received by the Shaw Savil Co. that the WAIMANA left Southampton on Thursday afternoon last with a number of immigrants and general cargo for Auckland. The vessel is due at the northern port on March 14. The N.Z. Shipping Go’s. liner RUAPEHU has been fixed to sail from Auckland on Thursday morning next for Southampton and London, via Pitcairn Island, Panama and Curacao. „ The Shaw Cavill Co. advise that the GALLIC left Newcastle on Thursday afternoon for Auckland to commence loading for London. The vessel is due at Auckland to-morrow morning and will afterwards proceed to Git borne, Napier. Wanganui roadstead, Lyttelton and Wellington to complete. The vessel should be ready to sail from the Capital on March 4, via Cape Horn. The C. and D. Line steamer PORT VICTOR is loading jarrah at West Australian ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington .Lyttelton and Dunedin. After discharge the ship will load in the Dominion for London, sailing towards the end of March. OIL-TANKER TASCALUSA. The oil-tanker TASCALUSA arrived in the stream at 11 a.m. on Friday* with a cargo of oil fuel from San Luis (California). Pratique was granted, and the ship berthed early in the afternoon at Miramar Wharf to discharge her cargo, which is for the Union Company. The Tascalusa left San Luis on January 9, and had fine weather and smooth reas, with occasional showers in the tropics, until 600 miles off the New Zealand coast. The ship then encountered a southwesterly gale and high seas, which lasted until close to port. The crew are Chinese. The vessel carries a complement of 48 all told. The Tascalusa is owned by the Standard Transportation Co. of HongKong, and is of G 499 tons gross, and was built in 1913 by Sir Etß.'ton Dixon and Co., Ltd., Middlesboi*ugh, for her present owners. The vessel, which is to bring more oil ■ fuel to Wellington, sailed on Sunday for San Luis.
