RANGIOTU

[Prom Our Own Correspondent.] The harvest operations have practically finished in good time to clear the heavy rains that have fallen during the last few days. As the result of the earlier showers and warm conditions the growth on the grass has been good during the last fortnight, consequently the milk supply at the local factories is being well maintained, though it is not quite up to that of the same period of last year. Mr. and Mrs. H. Wilton and family have just returned from a six weeks' motor tour of the South Island. The tourists visited many popular places, Including a week at the South Seas Exhibition.

Mr. E. N. MacAuley, who has been on an extended trip to the Home land, has returned to his farm at Bainosse. Mrs. and Miss Bond have returned from a visit to tho Exhibition.
