JOHNSONVILLE EWE FAIR Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their annual Johnsonvllle ewe fair held on Monday Ist Inst., as under: — A full yarding of 4000 sheep comprising annual drafts from all local breeders came forward and the largest proportion of the sheep were in good condition. There was a large attendance of clients present but being the first ewe sale of the season, the sale did not open too briskly, but improved considerably towards the end. Practically the whole yarding was sold at what must be considered satisfactory prices. We quote:—4-yr. ewes, on account of Bryant Bros., £1 1/-; 4-yr. ewes, on account of Emmett Bros., £1 1/-; 4-yr. owes, on account of W. Hume, 20/10; 4-yr. ewes, on account of Mrs. W. Horrobln, 20/4; 4 and 5-yr. ewes 14/-, 15/6 to 20/-; 2-th. ewes (small), 17/3 to 18/9; 4 and 6-th. ewes, 23/4; good woolly lambs, 15/5 to 17/7; good shorn lambs, 15/; store lambs, 8/6 io 14/4; cull lambs, 5/6 to 6/9; store ewes, 5/6 to 11/7; 2-th. wethers (small), 18/-.
