MASSAGING A HEART
RISKY ACT SAVES LIFE CLEVELAND (Ohio), Jan. 27. E. F. Hauserman, a manufacturer, who had been apparently dead, recovered after a surgeon, taking a risk, made an incision below the heart and massaged the heart. Th patient had failed under an operation for appendicitis, which was continued after the heart resumed functioning.
