In the Heathcote-WilUamls Shield match, Auckland Grammar School defeated Christchurch Boys' High School by 85 runs. Grammar made 15 5 in the first Innings and 122 in the second &1, Mathoson 39). Christchurch made 104 In the flrbt innings and had to make 174 to win, but was dismissed for 88 (Merritt 43). Bowling for Auckland, Matheaon took four for 20 and Kasper, four for 35. j
