ENGAGED TO BE MARRIED, LONDON. January 11. Miss Essie Ackland, the Sydney contralto, and Mr. Reginald Morphew a tenor, also popular in Sydney, are engaged to be married. Mr. Morphew has returned to London from Milan, wherehe completed his studies. Mies Ackland is booked for two concerts at the Albert Hall on. the afternoon and, evening of January 2i.
